Southern Powder Horn

Very nice hand chip carved powder horn. Probably southern origin found in Rockingham County, Virginia.   Forged iron strap clasps and a cherry plug held in place by wooden pins. 16″ around the curve  – 2 1/4″ across the plug. Great Chip carving around the raised neck at the spout.  Nice even color.
