American Tomahawks

Availability: In Stock

Rare pair of 18th century American blacksmith made spike tomahawks. Early spike tomahawks are scare but to find a pair made by the same American Blacksmith is extremely rare. One of the tomahawks was found in Augusta County, Virginia by John Heatwole of Bridgewater, VA and the other was found in Mississippi by Harold Edwards of Lexington KY. Both tomahawks are beautifully made and no doubt these were made for the Native American Trade by the same blacksmith.  Head is 7 5/8 ” tall

These are among the rarest 18th century pair of spike tomahawks known today.
