Rare Colt S/A 7 ½” 45 Colt S# 103671- Smooth Bore

1^st Generation Colt S/A 7-1/2”x 45 COLT, 103671 (1884) black powder with a smooth bore with very little if any pitting. This is a rare Cowboy Colt S/A used in a shooting exhibitions or Wild West shows for shooting glass balls that were thrown in the air. The correct hammer has all the clicks intact and the action is good with the proper timing. Markings are G – VG.  Barrel address is complete and legible. All matching numbers. There are a few scattered areas of light pitting. The rest of the metal is VG with an overall brownish-grey mottled patina. Grips appear to be the originals but do have some minor shrinkage. Great old Cowboy S/A that no doubt saw a lot of exhibition shooting. G – VG Condition. Rarely see a smooth bore S/A offered for sale –
