1st Generation Colt S/A 7-1/2”x 45COLT, 108173(1884) This black powder S/A has a fine bore and action and is a wonderful Cowboy revolver. The metal is extremely nice conditioned revolver for its age and above the average for a pre-1890s gun and it has almost no pitting or serious wear anywhere. It retains 85% coverage of a fine plum brown patina with 50% density. The overall look on this 1880 S/A is well above what one usually sees for an old Cowboy S/A.
