Unmarked Brass Barreled Blunderbuss, made circa 1770
This Revolutionary War era unmarked blunderbuss features a 14” brass barrel (possibly made in Philadelphia) with a 1” (inside) flared muzzle. The brass barrel has three sets of decorative rings and four ½” of octagon before becoming flared round.  The trigger guard, side plate, and butt plate are likewise made of brass. The original iron flintlock lock is beautifully engraved. It has its original ramrod with brass tip. The overall condition is excellent. The action is excellent. The smooth bore is in very good. This is a wonderful example of a blunderbuss from the period of the American Revolution!
