WW II “machinist made” swatch fighting knife that was made from a destroyed airplane. The design features a large-bellied blade for upcoming fighting in France. It has an aluminum pommel and  wood handle. This swatch was made for Walker Smith, Richmond, Virginia during WW II while in France.  It is 16 ½” overall length with a 11” blade that is 2 3/4” wide at the widest point.
