18th Century Tavern Frockcoat
Excellent Revolutionary War era tavern frockcoat owned by Sir William Johnson of Johnson Hall, Jonestown, NY. Sir Johnson was a British Officer and a British Administrator in charge of Native American affairs in America. He was commander of the Native American that were sympathetic to the Americans in the French and Indian War. Sir Johnson died at Johnson Hall in 1774, just before the Revolutionary War.
