18th century American powder horn inscribed I Hall – 4th Virginia. Hall was a militiaman from Gloucester, VA in Co. K, 4th VA. Hvy. Arty. Regt. (later redesignated 34th VA. Inf. Regt.) during the Revolutionary War. He served in the northern and southern campaigns and is buried in Gloucester, VA.
