This original issue Revolutionary War Continental Army tin canteen is among the rarest of the Revolutionary War accoutrements and is usually only seen in early museum collections.

It has the curved back, retains its original applied top, and original metal hangers for straps. This canteen has wonderful patina and is a fantastic 1770 example.
