Martha and George Washington 18^th Century Prints

18^th century print of the couples etching of George and Martha Washington. Engraving attributed to Augstin de Saint Aubin from a painting by Charles Willson Peale. Published by Nicolas Cochin ca 1780. There are no printer markers, however the image and paper are 18^th century. Very rare engraving.

Augustin de Saint-Aubin (1736–1807) was one of the most prolific and celebrated French printmakers and illustrators of the 18th century whose talent captured the elegance, court life, and prominent figures.

Nicely framed early print of true American patriots.
