Hillery Cooper, Gloucester County, VA who was in the1st Virginia Regiment from the 1st Day of August 1776 to August 1779, He, also, served with Colonel Woodford at the Battle of Great Bridge and then from September 1780 to October 1781 when he was discharged after the surrender at Yorktown.
